Week 2

Coming out of Week 1 and straight into week 2, was so much easier. The hardest part of this whole cleanse has been the fact that I work in a deli and have tempting food readily available. So when I'm working and start getting hungry, I know I need to go and eat my prepacked lunch quickly. Week 2 was so much better for me, I started to feel more energy and happier as I started to feel a little more weight sliding off of me each day. It has gotten easier everyday to make myself sit and eat breakfast and drink my coffee and suffer through my eggs. (Not a huge egg fan). My favorites again were the days with dinners of chicken, steak or salmon. I'm not a bland eater, and at first, none of the food appealed to me because of the basic no seasoning, no flavour etc. I was never a big salmon eater, but I started to look forward to the days of salmon. I followed the cleanse plan and I'm starting to feel a little more confident each day, just because I know I'm tough enough to do this. If I can stick to 16 days of this cleanse, I know I can make it through this. This cleanse has been the hardest thing I think I've challenged myself to do in a very long time. I wanted to make sure I only had to do it once. I have lost 14 pounds as of day 15 into my program, and I can't wait to see where this goes! - Jas
