Jasmine's Journey

Jasmine joined the NXTLVL team January 1, 2017. Jasmine was surprised by Alan Dyck with one year of FREE Elite Remote Coaching. Jasmine has been keeping a transformation journal to share her journey with all of you. Follow along as she undergoes a 52 week mission to lose weight and reinvent her lifestyle to live a healthy and fitness focused being! Each week, Jasmine posts a vlog entry, quickly describing the week in review, and writes up a recap of the week's happenings. It has been a long time since I have written a journal entry, I can't even remember the last time. I have upped to 6 days a week at the gym and cardio on my day off. Alan added running into my life. I am not a runner and that has been difficult for me to add into my routine. 15 minutes walking and 15 minutes running on the treadmill before I lift. I thought Alan had lost his mind when he added that. I haven't worked that hard in a long time to keep up that kind of pace ever. This was a huge struggle for me; I thought I couldn't do it. I feel stronger every day and happier. I haven't been this happy and confident in a long time. It's nice when people I work with mention how good I look, considering I haven't felt like it in a long time.

August

This month, I met a new friend named Andrea through Alan and started to go to the gym with her. It's great to meet someone who you can go to the gym with and encourage and motivate each other. It's easier to push through a hard set when you have someone pushing you and encouraging you. I really enjoy having another person to work beside and to see the process and to see the results. I was apprehensive at first because I'm awkward around new people but I really like the friendship and teamwork at the gym; especially to have someone to spot your weights and motivate. I am so happy and thankful to have met Andrea, and I'm grateful to Alan for getting us to meet.
